Notice to Veterans Living in GWL

In a meeting with County Executive Steve Neuhaus last week, I was informed of a great program offered by Orange County for our area Veterans. Four days a week, Orange County sends a van to 9 locations in Orange County, Greenwood Lake being one of them, and takes local Veterans to Castle Point VA Medical Center. If you are a local Veteran and would like to take advantage of this service, please contact 845-291-2470 to schedule a pick up. The pickup location is CVS – they cannot pick you up from your home. Pickup is Mon., Tue., Thur., and Friday. You must call at least one full day in advance to schedule a pickup.
