Merry Christmas!!!

On behalf of the Village Board, the staff at Village Hall: Pat Olsen, Beth Farrell, and Dody Nicholas, as well as all Village employees, we would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.

Snow Removal and Storm Procedures

This past weekend the Village was hit with about 6 inches of snow, and a layer of ice. This is a reminder that we live in a four season community and we must work side by side with those who for us. If the weather men, who happen to be right occasionally, predict a decent snow amount, please, do not park on public roads. Not only does this prolong the process of our DPW’s snow removal, you risk serious damage to your vehicle and it will undoubtedly make for a tougher time shoveling yourself out. In addition, keep in mind that when a storm system comes in that is likely to be in our area for a significant amount of time, the DPW stays on, working, throughout the entire storm. If they are not on your road or near your house immediately after the storm hits, don’t worry – they will come. Once they arrive, they work until the storm ends.
